JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client is looking for a technically strong tax leader to join our global team. In this role, the Corporate Tax Manager is responsible for a multitude of duties related to federal, state and local tax compliance in eleven different countries and growing. As a self-starter, you will provide leadership in establishing and monitoring tax policies and procedures for the organization and play a key role in the support of our continued expansion via acquisitions and organic growth.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

  • Coordinate the annual tax planning activities of the global consolidated entity in the US.
  • Manage all tax compliance issues in the US, including state and local.
  • Work closely with and monitor the work of our outside tax consultants globally.
  • Develop and execute on company tax policies and procedures.
  • Manage the company’s consolidated income tax provision.
  • Oversee timely and accurate completion of US federal, international, state and local income tax returns including all related analysis and support.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance and timely execution of sales, use and property tax obligations.
  • Responsible for transfer pricing and management fee arrangements.
  • Liaise with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues.
  • Advise senior management on the tax impact of current and proposed company activities and transactions.
  • Represent the company on tax audits conducted by outside regulatory agencies.
  • Directs and oversees the retention of tax records and other required reports.
  • Develop a team and build successor candidates.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Your Experience and Education (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (or in process)
  • 6-8 years of tax experience in a global organization
  • Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge

Your Experience and Education (Preferred)

  • Public accounting experience
  • Experience working with NetSuite
