This position will be responsible for demand planning and inventory management for the Canadian Retail spare part needs. Success will be measured by maintaining optimal inventory to meet customer SLA and minimize penalties. A successful candidate will provide leadership that allows the service region and GSSC parts team to achieve its financial, operational, customer performance, and compliance objectives. This role works with service management, supply chain management, and technicians to achieve objectives.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsible for the coordination of retail spare parts across the Logistics Network
  • Responsible for 3m retail service parts

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Monitor inventory and stocking levels for accuracy
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels
  • Review distribution channels
  • Engage with logistics function in the US, sharing best practices and developing new systems/process development
  • Implement and maintain inventory systems and processes
  • Working with repair vendor (repair log, WIP, parts needed to repair parts) to prioritize and repair parts
  • Review billing and request PO creation to pay repair vendors.
  • Following up on parts orders, repairs with the correct parties
  • Following up on customer parts escalations (account rep) and/or Help desk (CMC team) requests
  • Part Number Creation Requests with both the US and Germany SAP Team
  • UPS issues; stock issues, in-bounding issues
  • Stock Reports for ALL customers; identifying deficiencies and work with appropriate parties to get stock replenished
  • Reports (as needed)

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with MS Excel, Word and ERP systems
