Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close.
  • Manage and comply with Local, State and Federal government reporting requirements and filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Supervise Elite Billing Administration, A/P Clerk, and A/R Clerk.
  • Assist Executive Director in operations projects/duties as assigned.
  • Time Matters for billing and calendaring.
  • Utilizing QuickBooks for the Alpha Land Title accounting in order to assist with.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Controller.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
